There are big goals and a laser focus on 2023 for improving the equipment department in many ways and we are eager to display the results.

We focus on simple philosophy’s to maintain balance and integrity:

  1. Respect yourself and Each Other – Without respect, we have nothing at all.
  2. Safety is not a part of the job – it is the job. The job can’t be performed if not done safely.
  3. Quality and pride in our performance – With #1 and #2 being principles, this comes naturally.

The trucking department has a lot to be proud of coming out of last year, and many challenges to still overcome, but with the drivers we have in place and Shylee leading the way, 2023 is shaping up to be the best year for the department since 2017.

Well done to Shylee and all of our respected Teamsters drivers!
Shylee McConnell – Logistics Manager & Dispatcher Trucking Division

2023 has started out with a bang for Shylee and the trucking department with having nearly all trucks booked every day through January and filling out requests for trucking for T&T’s, Supersolo’s, Side Dumps and more.

Shylee has played a critical role in all the great new developments in the department with adding an experienced second shift mechanic, bolstering opportunities for greater operational readiness for trucks and ensuring that our safety and operational strategies are being managed in day to day operations.

Shylee is bringing on a new administrator to the trucking department in February and we are looking forward to another great addition to the team, and what the future has in store.
