Our company was founded to establish a presence in the Pacific Northwest as the design-build contractor of choice for Federal Contracting. Over the past decade, Tunista Construction has diversified and grown into a company of over 70 employees and established ourselves as a trusted and respected designbuild Civil Contractor.
Tunista Constructions overarching goal is to be a the leading and preferred heavy civil and infrastructure firm in the Pacific Northwest, with intentions of increasing our range and radius of work that has been built off time tested and proven constructability and partnering that we have done to date.
Tunista Construction has a wide range of capabilities when it comes to finding value engineering and value-added opportunities with utilizing existing utilities and infrastructure to meet primary mission goals or project objectives.
Tunista Construction has designed, retrofitted, built, demolished, by-passed, and pulverized storm drainage pipe and systems from 3” to 84” in diameter on projects all over Washington State and Alaska. We have a collaborative approach to working with our preferred vendor base and their manufacturing team creating a strong line of communication from design through installation and warranty.
Tunista Construction has completed countless miles of sanitary sewer systems, with new construction, retrofitting, upgrading and beyond. Our Crews are led by highly qualified general site foreman, which are supported by experienced and talented superintendents.
Tunista Construction has installed, retrofitted, replaced, and adapted multiple municipal, private and federal water systems in the same manner that we install all our underground utilities. A high level of focus on pre-construction communications, submittals, quality control, material checks and a robust tracking and management plan for water quality checks and balances during construction with robust testing and tracking.
Tunista Construction has one goal on all our projects: A safe, mutually beneficial and successful completion of the work. This means that often our clients find themselves in a position where having us provide trenching or grading services for others to be the most effective and practical approach for that work to be completed.

Tunista Construction has successfully completed multiple Elementary through College Schools and Institutions with a specific focus on student and staff safety and a built model for sequential construction methodology, planning, signage for pedestrian and traffic planning.
