Tunista Construction was contracted by Spee West to provide all civil activities for the construction of the new Federal Way Highschool which was inclusive of all underground utilities, a heavy site cut and fill and all associated earthwork, all detention ponds and water retention systems and all site grading through finish grade. This was a large multi-sequenced project with providing all structural excavation for the building, then moving into underground utilities with large detention ponds which rolled directly into the large parking lot and bus loop and finishing up with the ball fields and tennis courts.
This project ran for nearly 3 years with all of the trade sequencing and multiple different construction path approaches taken.
