The aging sanitary sewer system for this housing facility and the hospital has reached a state of disrepair, and currently needs various work performed ranging from spot repair to full on removal and replacement with new sewer pipe.

At Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor, the Department of the Navy set out to install a new operations and refit maintenance facility on the Delta Pier Submarine facility located within the controlled area of Naval Kitsap Base, Bangor.
Tunista Construction was tasked with removing several thousand tons of incorrectly procured and placed ballast rock, grading to design grades and slopes and then re-placing all of the 8,000ohm replacement ballast rock for Substation #2 at Bangor Naval Base Kitsap, for its primary substation adjacent to the powerhouse, with secondary feed from Bonneville and PSE.
