Quality Assurance
Our mission and goal is to be the most respected and trusted small business partner of the United States Government for general construction services wherever and whenever our services are needed.
At Tunista Construction, we believe that being a federal partner makes all the difference. It’s how we see ourselves and it is how we operate. It is part of our mission and our focus as an operating business unit. Being a Builder and General Contractor we are uniquely positioned to operate as a true construction company and we operate within the fast-paced and high demands of the industry – Quality Control is a pivotal part of that process. Tunista Construction is primarily focused on construction which requires a high level understanding of the needs and the requirements of its clients and their customers – many of which have unique missions with complex array of crucial dates, timelines, security restrictions, and limitations. Tunista Construction understands those requirements, works within the parameters of the environment and thrives within the demanding scope of the mission needs.
Tunista Construction prides itself on the quality of its tradesmanship as a union contractor, and deploys quality control managers on all construction projects. This attention to detail and adherence to specification and sound building is a key principle of Tunista Construction: “Do it right the first time”.
Tunista Construction is consistently looking for better ways to improve process management and work flows. We are involved in Lean construction and we manage projects utilizing principles of Last Management Planner™and each project has a comprehensive “Boot Camp” wherein the entire project team, to include all stakeholders and subcontractors, meet to kick-off the project. The collaborative environment of communication and attention to quality operations is a fundamental part of our operations.
How do we achieve this commitment?
Our quality comes from our people. We provide the tools and the systems for success, it’s our people who make the true difference. Each person provides the drive, talent, and commitment to excellence that enables our projects and the company to be successful. Stakeholders and our people working as a team in a collaborative and ever communicating environment is what makes the difference in a construction company that knows the path to providing true performance. We do this by emphasizing the following:
- A dedicated commitment to safety and quality
- Tools, training and opportunities for growth
- An environment that encourages and recognizes innovation
- Challenging career opportunities
- Career path growth
- Sense of family
- Dedication to four core company goals
- Clear path for goal execution
